Dagmar Dlab

Dagmar acts for both employers and individuals in a wide range of labour, employment and human rights matters. She has extensive experience in litigation arising from employment and labour disputes at all levels of the British Columbia courts and the Federal Court of Canada. Dagmar was one of the lawyers acting for the employees in British Columbia’s first employment law class action to be certified.

After completing her studies at the McGill University law school, where she obtained degrees in both civil and common law, Dagmar was chosen to be a law clerk for Chief Justice McEachern of the British Columbia Court of Appeal. Dagmar gained valuable experience and unique insight into the judicial process as a result of this position. Following her call to the bar in 1993, Dagmar worked as an associate at a boutique labour and employment law firm. She joined Greyell MacPhail, a predecessor to Roper Greyell, in 2002.

Dagmar has a Masters degree in Economics (International Development) and is fluent in French and Czech.
Dagmar volunteers as a writer for Lawyers’ Rights Watch Canada.

Dagmar has two children. She enjoys adventure travel, running and painting in her spare time.
