Greg is a seasoned labour litigator and has a reputation as a formidable opponent. He acts for management in labour arbitrations, labour board hearings, human rights tribunal hearings and wrongful dismissal proceedings. Greg provides strategic advice and representation for employers faced with challenging as well as prospering labour management relationships. He has represented both employers and employees in wrongful dismissal suits. His aggressive style and client-side experience are valuable assets for the firm. In addition to his counsel work, Greg delivers focused seminars to clients on a wide variety of employment, labour law and human rights issues. These client focused seminars are an integral component of Greg’s commitment to client service.

Greg is active in client development with the firm.  Having had the experience of being a client and a labour relations practitioner at Canadian Airlines International Ltd., he has a unique and practical insight into client expectations and service and how best to meet them. 

Greg is also conscious about a lawyer’s obligation to society and volunteers at a Salvation Army Pro-Bono clinic on a periodic basis.  Greg is the co-ordinator with Foster Parents Plan of Canada in dealing with Rangel, the firm’s foster child in Thailand.  Greg and his family sponsor another child in Ethiopia. Greg also supports the Friends for Life Society in Vancouver and Partners in the Horn of Africa.

Greg is a graduate of Queen’s University and the University of Victoria Law School.
