Jennifer Russell
Jennifer is the Editor of Roper Greyell’s Information Update. She has written for PeopleTalk magazine and co-authored several papers and articles on various labour and employment related topics. She is a member of Human Resources Management Association of British Columbia, and the Employment, Labour, Administrative, and Civil Litigation sub-sections of the Canadian Bar Association. Jennifer has represented clients before courts of all jurisdictions in British Columbia as well as before the Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal, the Employment Standards Tribunal and arbitrators. Jennifer received her Honours Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences and History from Queen’s University in 2000, and her law degree from the University of British Columbia. While attending law school, Jennifer also obtained a Diploma in Natural Resources Law through the Dr. Andrew R. Thompson Natural Resources Law Program. Jennifer loves live music and has played the violin since a very young age. She also enjoys soccer, travel, writing, and spending time down at Slocan Lake near her hometown in the Kootenays. |
