Jennifer Russell
Jennifer has written for PeopleTalk magazine and co-authored several papers and articles on various labour and employment related topics. She is a member of Human Resources Management Association of British Columbia, and the Employment, Labour, Administrative, and Civil Litigation sub-sections of the Canadian Bar Association. Jennifer received her Honours Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences and History from Queen’s University in 2000, and her law degree from the University of British Columbia. While attending law school, Jennifer also obtained a Diploma in Natural Resources Law through the Dr. Andrew R. Thompson Natural Resources Law Program. Jennifer received several awards and scholarships during her academic career, and represented U.B.C. at the 2003 Canadian Labour Arbitration Competition. She spent her final semester studying international and natural resource law at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Jenn loves live music. She has played the violin since a very young age and is a member of the Board of Directors for the musica intima society. She also enjoys soccer, travel, writing, and spending time down at Slocan Lake near her hometown in the Kootenays. |
