Muriel Henry

Muriel practises in all areas of employment and labour law. She partners with clients to provide strategic, practical solutions to workplace problems. She advises employers in both unionized and non-unionized workplaces on issues arising at all stages of the employment relationship. She has represented both provincially and federally regulated employers in human rights matters, as well as in labour board and judicial review proceedings.

Muriel is a member of the Labour Law, Employment Law and Human Rights sections of the Canadian Bar Association, and of the Human Resources Management Association.

Muriel was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2002. Prior to her call she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (Environment Biology) from the University of Guelph in Ontario and a law degree from the University of British Columbia. While at U.B.C. she had the opportunity to study law for a semester at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Muriel practised with the employment and labour law group at Ogilvy Renault before Roper Greyell was formed.

Most of Muriel's free time is spent chasing a toddler but she also enjoys weekends on Bowen Island and vacationing at the family cottage in the Ontario Kawarthas.
