Sandra Guarascio
Sandra is an experienced facilitator and speaker and has conducted numerous workshops dealing with management issues, discrimination, accommodation, and workplace harassment and bullying. She also conducts investigations into allegations of discrimination and harassment and provides strategic advice to employers in addressing these issues. Sandra obtained Bachelor of Arts (political science) and Law degrees from the University of Victoria where she is also completing a Masters (public administration). Prior to joining Roper Greyell in May 2008, she practised with a large national firm and was an instructor with the National Institute of Disability Management and Research. She clerked with the British Columbia Supreme Court in 2000-2001. Sandra is a member of the Labour Law, Employment Law and Human Rights sections of the Canadian Bar Association, the Human Resource Management Association, and the Institute of Public Administrators of Canada. She is a guest lecturer at BCIT and a volunteer with the Law Society and Continuing Legal Education. Sandra also served on the UVic Board of Governors from 1997-2000 and was Chair of the UVic Graduate Students Society. Sandra enjoys traveling, yoga, badminton, bocce, hiking and meandering in the outdoors (and in bookstores). |
