Ryan Copeland
Ryan provides employers with assistance in the areas of labour, employment and human rights law. He also represents employers and employees in wrongful dismissal cases. Ryan has represented clients in a variety of forums, including administrative tribunals, labour arbitrations, and court actions. He is a member of the Employment Law, Labour Law, and Human Rights subsections of the Canadian Bar Association. Before receiving his law degree from the University of Victoria in 2008, Ryan studied biological sciences at U.B.C, graduating with a B.Sc. in 2000. He commenced articling at Roper Greyell in July of 2008 and joined the firm as a lawyer in July 2009. Ryan's previous work experience is both diverse and representative of B.C.'s unique economy. Among other things, he has worked as a ski guide, a professional tree feller, a construction worker, and a forest firefighter. Outside of work, Ryan likes to go fast and is frequently spotted pursuing this passion at ski hills, bike parks and racetracks throughout B.C. and the Pacific Northwest. Ryan also enjoys travelling, photography, climbing, and generally taking in all that life has to offer. |
